Audio Tour

Thought-provoking audio tours bring the Museum to life through storytelling, sounds, layers of information that appeal to a broad range of interests. The audio tour is free with the price of admission and is available in both English and Spanish.

There are two, one-hour audio tours of the Museum: a “classic tour” designed for the general visitor and an “enthusiast tour” designed for the auto aficionado. Visitors can select either tour, opt to listen to both, or select specific areas of interest from each.

Guests of all ages, from students to adults, learn about the Museum’s heritage and explore history through the timeline of the automobile, including newsworthy events and cultural trends. Listeners discover important milestones, records of provenance, and delightful human-interest stories about cars and artifacts in the Museum’s collection.

The audio tour gives visitors the freedom to choose their own pace while touring the Museum, to select or skip specific topics and to privately repeat an audio station for their own enjoyment or edification. Plus, they can stop and discuss, or even reminisce about an audio tour station message with a companion.

Daily Guided Tour

Guided Tours are offered daily at 1:30 p.m., based upon volunteer tour guide availability. Guided tours are free with the price of admission and are approximately 90 minutes in length. You’ll explore the entire Museum with your knowledgeable guide and learn many stories and intriguing facts about the Museum’s remarkable collection.

Group Tours

The Museum welcomes groups and offers special discounted rates for groups of 10 or more.

Self-Guided Tours

Groups may visit the Museum on their own and at their own pace. Admission for your group may be paid in full upon arrival by cash, check, or credit card, or paid in advance by credit card. Any admission balance due is payable in full upon arrival.

Guided Tours

Guided Tours are available for groups with advance reservations of at least three weeks. A trained and knowledgeable tour guide will offer a fascinating experience through the entire Museum that is about 90 minutes in length. All requests are subject to tour guide availability.

The fee for a guided tour is $50 per guide and must be paid in advance by credit card. Cancellation of guided tours must be made 72 hours prior to the tour date in order to receive a full refund.

Admission for your group may be paid in full upon arrival by cash, check, or credit card, or paid in advance by credit card. Any admission balance due is payable in full upon arrival.
