Plan Your Visit

At the National Automobile Museum, we invite you to not just revel in our more than 200 glorious cars, but to relive their stories. Walk through our cobblestone street scenes, honk the antique “ooga” horn, put on a period hat and coat and create your own stories in our photo car. At the end of your journey, you’ll understand why we are “One of America’s Five Greatest Automobile Museums."

Hours of Operation: 

Open Everyday
Monday – Saturday,  9:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.
Sunday,  10 a.m. - 4 p.m.  
Except Thanksgiving and Christmas 

For general visitors, we suggest approximately
two hours to experience the entire Museum.
If you are a car aficionado then plan to spend all day.  
Same day re-entry is allowed with valid receipt.

Seniors :     $8 (62 and older)
Junior:         $4 (6 to 18 years old)
Children:     Free (5 and younger)

Don't Forget Your Camera

Photography for personal use is allowed with hand-held cameras and with available light or electronic flash attachments. Tri-pods and lights may not be used without permission. Reproduction or sale of photographs is not allowed without Museum permission.

Located on the corner of Lake & Mill Streets in downtown Reno on the Truckee River.

Driving Directions:

From I-80 
Exit at the Wells Avenue exit. Turn south, proceed over the overpass in the middle lane. Turn right on Mill Street. Turn right on Museum Drive and turn left into the Museum parking lot. 

From I-580 (395) 
Exit at the Mill Street exit. Turn west heading towards downtown Reno. The last intersection before the Museum is Wells Avenue – continue on Mill Street. Turn right on Museum Drive and turn left into the Museum parking lot.
