Activities for Families

The National Automobile Museum is a great place for learning and fun.

In addition to the Museum's photo car shown above, there are scavenger hunts and activitiy booklets to create your own automotive adventure.

Passport to Adventure

The Passport to Adventure activity booklet offers a fun and engaging experience for families visiting the Museum with their children as they explore the special exhibit: 1908 New York to Paris Auto Race, Featuring the Winning Car, the 1907 Thomas Flyer.

The Passport to Adventure includes stories, a map of the international race route, word searches, word scrambles, connect-the-dot drawings and more. Children will learn interesting facts and search for answers to activity questions from stories in the booklet. At the completion of each section of the booklet, they will have fun stamping their Passports at four stations equipped with stamps that read: “United States,” “Japan,” “France,” and “Great Job!”

The activity booklet can be downloaded and used independent of a visit to the Museum or in advance of a visit.
